'Tree of Cherished Memories' by Jill Berelowitz unveiled at The National Memorial Arboretum

Cristina Schek

Delighted to unveil my latest sculpture 'Tree of Cherished Memories' today at the National Memorial Arboretum featuring the first of the bronze-sculpted leaves and figures dedicated to your loved ones.

Inspired by a Hawthorn tree from the Arboretum, the 4-metre bronze Remembrance Sculpture uses moulds of a tree which was felled at the end of its natural life to create a new space for plant life to thrive.

The dedications adorning the sculpture have been commissioned by families to remember and celebrate for years to come. The money raised will help National Memorial Arboretum to keep stories of service and sacrifice alive for future generations through their inspirational landscape, public programme and learning activities.

If you would like to commission a dedication, you can find out more on National Memorial Arboretum website: https://www.thenma.org.uk/visit-us/what's-here/the-memorials/tree-of-cherished-memories

The sculpture was cast at The Morris Singer Foundry, UK.
